Error heavy Tigers lose to Northview, 9-6

The T.R. Miller Tigers have been dominant this season, but against Northview on Monday the Tigers was everything but, having perhaps one of its worst games of the year, losing against Northview 9-6. Miller batted .270 as a team and made six errors in the field.

Pitcher Russell Smith suffered the loss on the mound, pitching three innings, allowing seven runs, two earned, on eight hits. Caleb Winton finished the game in relief of Smith. Winton had six strikeouts in three innings of work.

Hunter Brittain was 2-for-4 at the plate with 2 RBIs. O’Neil White had two hits and scored two runs. Smith was 2-for-4 with an RBI.

John Chivington had three hits to lead Northview..

Daniel Mascaro was the winning pitcher for Northview.

Northview has outscored TRM head-to-head this season, 13-11.

Miller is outscoring other opponents 293-54.
