During the week of July 15, 2017, the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office responded to 218 complaints and 11 domestic calls; served 68 civil papers; and performed 46 transports, two domestic escort and seven funeral escorts. Arrested were:

Karen Nelson, 47, of East Brewton, for financial exploitation of an elderly person II, forgery III, possession of a forged instrument I

Steven L. Monie, 53, of Brewton, for driving under the influence, and speeding
