A Flomaton husband and wife are dead, and police are actively searching for a suspect.

Police were dispatched to the College Street home just after 2 p.m. Saturday at the request of a welfare check. When officers arrived, they found Timothy Adams, 50, and Susan Adams, 61, dead. Earlier reports stated the couple was shot death.

At present, the Flomaton Police Department is working the case with the assistance of the state bureau of investigation.
