Donations needed for Paws Cross Dog Rescue

Paws Crossed Dog Rescue is accepting donations for a yard sale that will take place March 2-3.

They are requesting items such as fishing and hunting clothing, furniture that is in good condition, kids toys, household items and anything else in good condition.

All sales will go toward vetting, food and shelter for the dogs.

“We are in desperate need of foster homes for rescues,” Edith Kelley, the organization’s director, said.

All supplies and vet care for fosters are provided by Paws Crossed Dog Rescue, Kelley said. The commitment time frame for fostering is two to four weeks.

Kelley said the community has been a big help in rescuing and rehoming locally, with 93 dogs rescued and rehomed as of December.

Donations for the yard sale can be dropped off at 110 Wilson St., Brewton. Monetary donations can be made at Brewton Animal Hospital under the Paws Crossed account.
