T.R.Miller tennis team started it’s season strong as they defeated Excel in a match 9-0.

Coach Terri Thompson said, “This was a great way to start off our tennis season.” In the single matches Tori Knapp was in tennis action as she won her set 7-0.

Ella Hart also had a good game as she won her set 7-1, Bentley Webb won her set 7-1, and Erica Howell won her set 7-1.

Hayden Hawsey won her set 7-0 and Sadie Mcconaughy won her set 7-0.Thompson said, “I am proud of the way we competed.”

The Tigers continued their roll in the double matches as the Tigers were successful as Knapp and Hart worked together in winning their set 7-0. Howell and Hawsey were focused as they won their set 7-0, and Webb and Sloane Hawsey won their set 7-0.“Coach Smith and I were able to take notes on some areas where improvement is needed, but overall a great match starting off the season,” Thompson said.
