If you or anyone you know participated in a band program, John Lambert would like for you to consider the Escambia County Community Band.

He said that locals interested may like the Facebook page and make a comment.

“As some of you may know we experienced difficulty obtaining adequate instrumentation last year,” he said. “We hope to recruit enough to remedy that problem. If it seems we hae enough interest and adequate instrumentation, we’ll schedule rehearsals in a few weeks.”

Lambert said they may rehearse Mondays in Flomaton and Thursdays in Atmore from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.

“If it works out, we’ll schedule a few concerts toward the end of June and perhaps early July,” he said.
