The owner Karisky Samuel is very excited and happy to have her own business and is ready to get her business going. The grand opening will be March 30 and the theme is “Feeling Important.” Samuel said, “We want to reach to everyone, because we want to cater you.”

Samuel is a native in Brewton, where she and her four children Ricky Samuel, Karen Samuel, Dinah Samuel and Briana Samuel were born and raised as well.

Karisky Samuel said she always wanted her own business, She’s a nurse, She is a people person and loves to serve. She earned a Master’s degree in business from Faulkner University in Montgomery.

Hollywood Hair and Cuts will have top-of-the line hair, which is the best kind. Krisky Samuel said, “It will be grade 10A hair, which means the best you can buy.” They hand pick their hair they don’t do shipments.

They will have licensed barbers, licensed stylists, licensed cosmetologists, and manicure nail techs. However, they are still looking for a licensed cosmetologist and possibly another barber. Hollywood Hair and cuts will be open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The inside of the shop has a welcome to Hollywood type of atmosphere. Karisky Samuel said, “People can walk in on the red carpet, and feel the atmosphere and feel welcomed. When a person feels good they look good and it will show how special they are to me. So welcome to Hollywood.”
