Chamber wants input on kick it

The threat of showers and thunderstorms forced chamber officials to change Kick It At The Creek from Saturday to Sunday, but it’s a move that proved to be beneficial.

“We had the largest crowd since Kick It At the Creek began,” said Linda Williamson, Chamber board president. “First time we have had a Sunday afternoon event and would like feedback from the community to see if they would like to see it on Sunday next year.”

The event was held at Jennings Park and locals enjoyed music by the Neil Dover Band and crawfish galore.

“We would like to thank everyone for coming out and supporting the event and look forward to seeing everyone at the gospel singing on May 5.”
