Davis signs with Murray State

There is great talent all around the State of Alabama and majority of the young women and men are athletic and gifted to play.

A Brewton native and W.S. Neal High School graduate Tyshawn Mike Davis. Davis is a 6-foot-6 forward and plays for Monroeville Community College. Davis has his sights on Murray State’s men basketball program.

Davis played an average of 32 games averaging 16.2 points and 8.1 rebounds per game. He shot 54.3 percent from the floor, 47.5 percent from the arc (58-for-122) and 82.7 percent from the free throw line.

He ranked 18 in the country with his three-point percentage. On March 8, Davis was named the Alabama Community College conference player of the year.

Davis has two years of eligibility remaining, and held offers and considerable interest from Nicholls State, Loyola Marymount, UT Martin, Arkansas Little Rock, Louisiana-Monroe, Troy, South Alabama and Florida Atlantic.
