A single-vehicle crash at 2:53 p.m., April 14, has claimed the life of an Freemanville man and  injured two others.  Antonio Richardson, 38, was killed when the 2007 Scion he was a passenger in left the roadway and overturned on AL 21 at the 4.6 mile marker, three miles north of Atmore. Richardson was transported to USA Medical Center where he died from his injuries on April 16. The driver, Willie James Hudson, 28, of Atmore was transported to Atmore Community Hospital. Passenger, Wade Johnson III, 27, of Atmore was transported to Atmore Community Hospital. None of the occupants were using seatbelts, and both Richardson and Johnson were ejected from the vehicle. Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
