W.S. Neal football players hit the field recently with a 7-on-7 in New Brockton. NBHS held an OTA with Opp, Ashford, and WSN playing.

For those who may not know OTA is a way for football players to get practice or learn a few things before the upcoming fall season.

“I’m glad we had the chance to go to New Brockton, I feel our guys competed well and just had a great OTA day,” head coach Andro Williams said. OTAs are seen as a way to introduce new players on the team, as well as for new offensive and defensive coordinate players.

Having these OTA practices also helps and gives players an understanding on what to do for the regular season. “I like how Grayson Ball competed in the OTA. Ball plays as a receiver where he is a split end. We also got some great work in and ready to see the work progress into the regular season,” Williams said
