Carpenter is a junior offensive lineman, defensive lineman, and fullback.
At 6’0” and 255 pounds, he is a powerhouse for the Tiger’s, especially defensively.
As the Tigers faced Bayside on Friday night, Carpenter lead the team with nine tackles and had two TFL’s.
He also contributed as a big part of the offensive line, helping to generate much needed yardage.
“Carpenter played a great game on Friday night and I was very happy with his performance. He was key to some big plays and made some huge stops for us,” Coach Keith Etheredge said.
The Tigers are now 4-0 in the season and are sitting at the number one spot of the region with just a few regional games left.
The Tigers will face Hillcrest High School on Friday night in Hillcrest.
