TRM Cross Country Going Well

The start of cross country season is going well for the TRM Tigers cross country team.
In the Mobile Challenge of Champions meet on Sept. 1st, Olivia Blackmon placed third overall in the girls 5k with a time of 19:57:70.
T.R. Miller girls team placed eight in the tournament with an overall score of 172.
Rider Jernigan rounded out the boys 5k run with a time of 18:09:03 placing him 16th.
T.R. Miller placed 10th overall in the event with 205 points.
TRM also competed in the Battle of the Bay on Sept. 15th, in Loxley.
Marshall Lovelace of Brewton Middle School placed second and James Feeley placed fifth overall for the elementary race.
Varsity girls competed in the 1A-4A division 5k run.
Olivia Blackmon won overall with a time of 21:33:52 and was followed up by Rebecca Ann Moore, placing sixth.
TRM’s, Elisabeth Coleman rounded out the top ten.
TRM girls won the overall with a team score of 37 in the 5k.
In the varsity boys 5k, Rider Jernigan placed second with a time of 18:15:03.
He was followed by Tailand Mitchell placing 13th and Sam Kelley at 14th.
The Miller boys would place an overall 5k score of 82, placing them fourth overall.
In the J.V. girls 3k run, Kaylea Land placed first with a time of 15:30:81 and James Tolbert would place 12th for the J.V. boy’s division.
The next meet for the TRM cross country team will be on Sept. 29, at Jay Park in Jay, Fla. at 8 a.m..
