Mr. Barry Mason Vaughn, 73, of Beaver Creek Road, Rock Creek Community, Wing, Ala. passed away Sunday, Dec. 2, 2018 in a Pensacola, Fla. hospital after a brief illness. He was a native of Independence, Kansas, A former resident of Neodesha-Elk City, Kan. and Ozark, Ala. before moving to Brewton. Mr. Vaughn attended the Rock Creek Pentecostal Church and was a retired supervisor from Frit Car with more than 40 of service. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Linda Lucas Vaughn of Rock Creek, Ala.; one son, Jeremy Douglas of Pensacola, Fla.; granddaughter, Julie Ann Lucas of Rock Creek; one daughter, Denise Michelle (Richard) Walker of Pace, Fla.; two grandchildren, Marissa Walker and Michael Walker; many other extended family and friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday afternoon, Dec. 5 from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home in Brewton, Ala.

Funeral Services are scheduled for Wednesday afternoon, Dec. 5 at 2 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. David Earl Elliott officiating. Interment will follow in Rock Creek Cemetery Rock Creek, Ala. with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Brewton directing.
