City of Brewton train rides at Jennings Park.

Sundays thru Tuesdays, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Train rides at Dogwood Park.

Annual New Year’s Blueberry Drop at Jennings Park and downtown boardwalk. 5 p.m. to 12 a.m. music and vendors will be available to help make a memorable New Year’s Eve for the entire family.

 

Dec. 31

“The Glory Road Quartet” will be singing at the Woodlawn Methodist Church. The event will feature many other local talents and will begin at 7 p.m. and continue until mid-night. Woodlawn church is located on U.S. Hwy. 84. Everyone is invited to attend.

 

Dec. 31

New Beginnings Worship Center will host a New Year’s Eve Celebration on 8 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. at 717 St. Nicholas Avenue.

We encourage you and your family to come to this free fun filled event!

We will have free food, fellowship, kid’s activities, the word of God, praise & worship, testimonies, and so much more! If you are ready for a break through, in need of healing or a miracle you don’t want to miss this event!!

 

Jan. 19

Annual MLK parade at 12 p.m. starting from the Brewton City Water Department on McLellan Street leading out onto Sowell Road and ending at the John L. Fisher Center.

 

Jan. 20

Martin L. King Commemorate Service at 4 p.m. at Zion Fountain A.M.E. Church on Sowell Road.

Guest speaker is Rev. Anthony R. Thames. Vendors will be set up at the school ground. Registration for a booth is $25 and entrant forms are available from the local NAACP.
