The McDonald’s of Brewton recently received a makeover.
Improvements were made inside as well as the outside of the location.
The newly renovated McDonald’s will feature a new state-of-the-art design in McDonald’s.
“We (renovated) almost the entire restaurant. The lobby is being totally redone and we are also working on new bathrooms, crew rooms, kitchen areas, new menu boards will be placed and we will feature a new technology that McDonald’s is offering, ‘Experience of the future kiosks’,” General Manager Edmund Minchew said.
The new technology installed includes a state of the art kiosk system where a customer can place an order, customized to their preferences, without having to approach a counter.
“This is a new innovation for McDonald’s and we are excited to be the only area location that will offer this new technology,” Minchew said.
“The system will allow for faster service and will be a major upgrade in customer service. It will upgrade our customer counts. We currently had two customer order points and this will increase it to six,” Minchew said.
The new system will allow for employees to wait on tables, similar to a regular dining in experience.
The Brewton McDonald’s location is open Sunday thru Thursday from 5 a.m. to 12 a.m. and Friday and Saturday 5 a.m. to 1 a.m.
