Mrs. Roberta “Bobbi” Gilbert, 72, of Brewton, Ala. passed away Sat. Dec. 21, 2019, at her residence after a brief illness. She was a native and longtime resident of Brewton.  Mrs. Gilbert was of the Protestant faith and a former manager at Cedar Forest Apartments. She enjoyed music and dancing.

She is preceded in death by her husband, George Gary Gilbert; one brother and two sisters.

She is survived by a son, Wayne (Choumpree) Curry of Circleville, Ohio; a daughter,  Tina Marie Curry of Brewton; a step-daughter, Gina Thomas of Brewton; two sisters, Debbie Taylor of Arizona and Hilda Paulian of Columbus, Ohio; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Thurs. Dec. 26, 2019, from 3PM until 4PM at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home Brewton, Ala.

Memorial Services are scheduled for Thurs. Dec. 26, 2019 at 4PM at Williams Memorial Chapel  Funeral  Home with the Rev. Patrick Carden officiating, with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Brewton directing.
