Mr. Steven Daryl Howington, 53, of Zion Hill Road Brewton, Ala., passed away Sun. Dec. 22, 2019, at his residence after a brief illness. He was a native and lifelong resident of Escambia County, Ala.  Mr. Howington was a member of the Zion Hill Church. A 1984 graduate of W.S. Neal High School, and a former employee at Weyerhaeuser.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Edward Howington, Sr.; a brother, James Edward Howington, Jr.

He is survived by his mother, Lucille Hart Howington of Brewton; a daughter, Danielle Grantham of Brewton; two grandchildren, Parker Grey and Aubrey Jernigan; nieces, Amanda Howington and Trish Howington.

A time of visitation was held Mon. Dec. 23, 2019, from 1PM until 2PM at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.

Funeral Services were scheduled for Mon. Dec. 23, 2019, at 2PM at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. James Aubrey Wilson officiating.

Interment followed in Zion Hill Cemetery Brewton, Ala. with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
