Fatal crash claims life of Brewton man
A fatal crash claimed the life of a Brewton man on Monday, Jan. 13.
According to Sergeant Derek Gessner, the single-vehicle crash occurred at 12:45 p.m.
Rodney Blake Colvin, 31, was killed when the 2002 Chevrolet Camaro he was driving left the roadway and struck a tree. According to officials, Colvin, who was not using a seatbelt, was pronounced dead on the scene.
The crash occurred on U.S. 31 at the 72.6 mile marker, four miles north of Brewton.
Nothing further is available as ALEA Troopers continue to investigate.
