Mr. Rodney Blake Colvin, 31, of Brewton passed away Mon., Jan., 13, 2020,  after injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was a native of Milton, Fla. and a lifelong resident of Brewton.

Mr. Colvin was of the Christian Faith, A 2007 graduate of W.S. Neal High School. He served in the U.S. Army for 8 years, and was employed as a correctional officer for the state of Alabama at Holman Correctional Facility. He loved his family, his friends, his job, hunting, fishing and sports cars.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Jennifer Nordquist.

He is survived by his father, Johnny (Veronica) Colvin of Molino, Fla.; his mother, Corrie Stowers (Randy) Pittman of Brewton; his wife, Allison Rutledge Colvin of Brewton; his daughter, Ella Colvin of Brewton; his maternal grandmother, Evelyn Stowers of Brewton; his step grandparents, Shelby (Barbara) McFarlain of Pensacola, Fla; three brothers, Matthew Colvin of Brewton, Heath Pittman of Brewton, Eric Nordquist of Pensacola; his step sister, Vernonica MaFarlain Colvin; a step brother, Christopher McFarlain Colvin.

Visitation was held Mon., Jan. 20, 2020,  from 6PM until 8PM at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.

Graveside Services were scheduled for Tues., Jan. 21, 2020,  at 2:30PM at the Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Keith Lisenby officiating.

Interment will follow in the Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery Spanish Fort, Ala.,  with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Brewton directing.
