Coastal Ala. rallies for 7-5 win over CA-East

Central Alabama came from behind Thursday, Feb. 13, for a 7-5 win over Coastal Alabama-East in the first game of a doubleheader.

Central Alabama erased a 4-3 deficit with four runs in the top of the seventh inning to take the win.

Daniel Phillips , Dillan Baldwin , Andre Macedo , and Gabe Faucheaux led the Warhawks offensively with an RBI apiece.

Josh Bower added a pair of stolen bases.

Brooks Short and  Carlin Nix led Central Alabama at the plate with a double each. Nix also had two RBI and Tristan Keith, Calvin Burton and Chris Gillette each drove in a run.

Ben Krizen (1-0) worked 2.1 innings on the mound and picked up the win for Central Alabama.

Kyle Gilmore (0-1) took the loss for the Warhawks.

CA-East banged out 10 hits and committed no errors.

Central Alabama scored 7 runs on 9 hits and committed 2 errors.
