Hart awarded 4-H Club scholarship

Ella Hart Was selected as a recipient of the Alabama 4-H Club Foundation Scholarship.

Hart is a graduating senior from T.R. Miller High School and served as the Escambia County Distinguished Young Woman 2020.

In total, there were 35 awards given to students across 26 counties in the state.

Hart received $1,000 to be applied towards the fall semester.

Hart joined the 4-H program in the 6th grade at Brewton Middle School. Throughout her membership, Hart participated in livestock judging, chick chain, and the Swine program.

Hart emphasized her favorite experiences including the chick chain and swine projects.

During this time, Hart says that she learned invaluable lessons about the economics and business that surrounds raising animals.

Hart plans to attend the University of Alabama. in the fall and major in Chemical Engineering.
