BREWTON, ALA

Mr. William Orell Hart, 91, of Brewton, passed away Wednesday, Apr.15, 2020, in a local nursing facility after a brief illness. He was a native of Florala, Ala., a former resident of Montgomery and a long time resident of Brewton. Mr. Hart was a member of the Brewton First Baptist Church and a graduate of W.S. Neal High School. He was a member of the Brewton Lions Club, and a retired Chief Master Sergeant from the U.S. Air Force with 28 years of service. After the Air Force Mr. Hart worked as a clerk for the Alabama Department of Corrections and retired with 13 years of service.

He is survived by his wife, Allie Barrow Hart of Brewton; a daughter, Vicki (James) Tashjian of Marathon, Fla.; his grandson, Ryan W. Holland of Tampa, Fla; several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by his parents, Robert W. and Fannie Harrelson Hart; his twin sister, Doynell Hart; sisters,  Bobbie Lee Odom, Leatha Mae Helms; four brothers, Ted Hart, Austin Hart, Verlon Hart, Lucine Hart.

Graveside Services with Military Honors were held Saturday, Apr. 18, 2020, at 2PM at Zion Hill Cemetery with Rev. Ron Headley and Dr. Jimmy Adkisson officiating.

Interment followed in Zion Hill Cemetery, Brewton, Ala. with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of directing.
