BREWTON, ALA.
Wanda Regina Littles, 67, passed away peacefully Monday, May 25, 2020, due to a twelve-year battle of cancer. She was born August 10, 1952 in Brewton, Alabama to Minnie Montgomery and Homer Hamilton. At the age of five she was adopted by Willie Wilson. She was raised by Willie and Minnie Wilson. She married her longtime friend and love, Willie Ervin Littles on May 17th of 1974 who preceded her in death in 2016.
She graduated from Southern Normal School (SNS) with the Class of 1970. Wanda loved to love on people. She was an active member of Baptist Hill Missionary Baptist Church. She was an adamant educator of her church community on breast cancer awareness. She served in the choir and loved helping the youth of the church. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star Chapter #592, PHA and the Friendly Pals.
For many years Wanda worked for the State of Alabama in the Escambia County District Attorney’s Office as a Victim Service Officer. It suited her servant heart!
Her life was a living example of her favorite Bible verse, Proverbs 3:5-6 – “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”
Wanda leaves cherished memories with her daughters, Tomeka Littles-Thiam and Tinker (Draper) Rogers; two grandchildren, Zoe and Piper Rogers; siblings, Debra (Aubrey Sr.) Coleman and Ryan (Karim) Wilson, Carolyn Hamilton, Pat Hamilton, Marie Hamilton and Fredrick Hamilton; nephews, Aubrey (Elizabeth) Coleman III and Alexander Coleman; nieces, April Wilson and Sommer Caldwell and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral service for Mrs. Littles was held Saturday, May 29, 2020, at 10AM at Presley-Fluker Funeral Chapel located in Brewton, with Pastor Eric Andrews (Pastor of Baptist Hill Missionary Baptist Church) officiating.
Interment immediately followed at Baptist Hill Cemetery in Brewton.
Professional care and final arrangements were entrusted to Presley-Fluker Funeral Directors of Evergreen, Ala.
