Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

First United Methodist Church of Brewton hosted a virtual Vacation Bible School this past week.
Supplies were available at the church on Monday for every family that would be participating in the week long event. According to FUMC Children’s Director Ashley Byrd, approximately 60 children partcipated in the event, representing 27 different families.
“Hopefully this is something we can do again,” said Byrd.
Each packet included supplies for different games, snacks, bible study material, and crafts.
Byrd did emphasize the importance of the third day.
“There’s a decision time on that day,” said Byrd. On this day, the students will be presented with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
After all the planning and preparation, Byrd is looking forward to the week-long event.
