Charles Henry Hoomes
Mr. Charles Henry Hoomes, 76, of Brandenburg Street in East Brewton, passed away Thursday, October 29, 2020 in a Pensacola, Fla., hospital after a brief illness.
He was a native of Brewton and life long resident of East Brewton. Mr. Hoomes was of the Methodist Faith, a graduate of W.S. Neal High School, a U.S. National Guard, was a retired welder, and owned/operated Hoomes Mobile Home Village in East Brewton for 47 years.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Janet Langham Hoomes of East Brewton; two sons, Michael (Lisa) Hoomes of Jay, Fla., and Shawn (Brianne) Homes of Brewton; one daughter, Kelly (Randy) Price of Brandon, Miss.; two brothers, Howard (Doris) Hoomes of Pineview, and Dennis (Karen) Hoomes of Lenoir, Tenn.; one sister, Shirley (Frank) Beasley of East Brewton; five grandchildren, Tabitha Hoomes, Rachael Pace, McKayla Hoomes, Mackenzie Hoomes and Tyler Hoomes.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Harlace Hoomes.
Memorial services will be held at a later date and time with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
