Mr. Billy Newton Warren, 82, of County Road 6 in Castleberry, passed away Saturday, November 21, 2020 in a Jay, Fla., hospital after a brief illness.

He was a native and life-long resident of Castleberry. He was a member of the L Pond Church of Christ, a graduate of Conecuh County High School, a U.S. Air Force Veteran, and was retired from the Container Corporation of America shipping department with 40 years of service.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Gail Kirkland Warren of Castleberry; one son, Robbie (Stephanie) Warren of Brewton; one daughter, Lisa Warren of Castleberry; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Rufus and Eunice Turner Warren; a brother, Floyd Warren; sisters, Monrie Salter and Edna Myrl Pate.

Visitation was held Monday, November 23, 2020 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.

Memorial services were held Monday, November 23, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Minister Steve Parker and Minister Thad Evans officiating.

Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
