Mr. Arthur David “AD” Hale, 94, of Appleton Road in Brewton, passed away Sunday night ,November 29, 2020 at his residence after a brief illness.

He was a native of Escambia County, a former resident of Mobile, before moving to Brewton in 2000. Mr. Hale was a member of the Friendship Holiness Church, a U.S. Navy Veteran, and a retired communications supervisor from Alabama Power with 28 years of service. He enjoyed his herbs and vitamins.

He is survived by his wife, Marie Madden Hale of Brewton; three sons, Roy Hale of Greenville, James Hale of Fort Worth, Tex., and Ray Madden of Brewton; two daughers, Cheryl (Jake) Robinson of Covington, Ga., Rita Fay Madden of Brewton; two brothers, Hilton Hale of Brewton, and Olan Hale of Brewton; two sisters, Ruth Hale Graves of Brewton, and Betty Hale Pettis of Brewton; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, Dec. 2 at 1:00 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.

Funeral Services are scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. Jake Robinson officiating. Interment with Military Honors will follow in Pleasant Home Cemetery in Brewton.

Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
