James Elbert Johnson, 75, of Keego Road in Brewton, passed away Friday, December 11, 2020 at his residence after a brief illness.

He was a native of Mobile and a long time resident of Brewton. He was a 1063 graduate of W.S. Neal High School, a long time employee of Keego Brick Products and was the owner/operator of convenience stores.

He is survived by his children, Jimmy (Dana) Johnson and Stephanie (Adam) Monasco; one brother, Danny Johnson; three sisters, Mildred Brooks, Debbie Coleman and Carol Sims; four grandchildren, Hotshot Ramos, Rebecca Ramos.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elbert Johnson, R., and Thelma Lois Johnson; a brother, Elbert Johnson; and a sister, Betty Severino.

There will be no funeral services for Mr. Johnson.

Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
