The Escambia County Healthcare Authority has released the latest results of testing for COVID-19 in the county. The Tuesday release will be the last numbers available for 2020.

In the results released, there have been 643 specimens collected in the past 14 days. Since the beginning of recorded information for ECHCA, there have been 2,595 confirmed cases in the county and 34 confirmed deaths due to COVID-19.

In a breakdown across the county, D.W. McMillan Hospital has taken 1,790 total specimens with 1,361 negative results and 375 confirmed cases. there are 26 specimens with pending results and another 28 specimens with inconclusive results.  At Atmore Community Hospital, 3,606 specimens have been collected with 777 confirmed cases and 2,775 negative results. Of the specimens collected in Atmore, 48 have inconclusive results and six specimens have pending result status.
