The New Year just may be the time to think about a new career and leaders at Provalus are giving area residents an opportunity to do just that.

A special “bootcamp” event has been set at Provalus for Thursday that will provide an opportunity to learn more about what the company offers its clients as well as its employees.

Will Ruzic, general manager for Provalus Brewton, said the event is planned to give some insight into just how the industry-driven company works.

“Opportunity Day is a chance for prospective employees to come meet some of the people at Provalus and hear their story,” Ruzic said.  “Covid has limited our ability to hold any true open houses or general tours, but we wanted to safely provide a way for people to get a little better feel for what we do and who we are as a company.”

Ruzic said the opportunity day is a chance to give prospective employees to get answers to questions about the work Provalus does on a daily basis.

“There are always lots of questions on what we do, what we are building and the overall mission of Provalus,” Ruzic said. “So, we wanted to offer an opportunity to get those questions answered first hand.”

The mission of the bootcamp is to bring jobs to local communities and provide free IT training through the program. The bootcamps typically run for a four-week period and provide training in areas of network operation, security operations, computer programing and IT service desk tasks.

Candidates who graduate bootcamp may be extended an opportunity to join Provalus full-time as an entry-level analyst.

Provalus is a purpose-driven technology services organization delivering I.T. services to Fortune 1000 companies.

Provalus is located in downtown Brewton and applications are accepted at provalus.com/apply.
