Pediatric patients now have a new place to visit with the move of Dr. Paul LoDuca’s practice.

Now known as Midtown Pediatrics, Loduca made the move this week and began seeing patients in the new offices on Monday.

LoDuca came to Brewton five years ago from Columbus, Ga., where he spent five and a half years in the field of pediatric oncology and hematology.

Paul, and his wife Summer, have made the move into the new location in an effort to better serve their patients and their families.

“We are excited about the new location,” Summer Loduca said. “We really wanted to have something special for the families and patients we serve in the area. This new location gives us that opportunity to have a location tailored toward children and their families in taking care of their healthcare needs.”

Summer said the new offices have given them to room to grow their practice by adding a laboratory for testing on-site.

“We are bulding up our lab to be able to do more diagnostic testing on-site,” Summer said. “We will continue to grow our ability to make it more convenient for families and patients to receive excellent care in one location. We even have mental healthcare in-house as well. We want to be the best provider for wellness for the children we serve.”

Grey Garrett, nurse practitioner, is on staff at the practice offering excellent care, Summer said.

“She has great skills across the board,” Summer said. “She is excellent in urgent and acute care for our patients.”

Summer said the office hours for the practice remain the same as in the past. The office is open for patient care Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Fridays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The office is closed each day from 1 to 2 p.m. for lunch.
