Character parade at BES finale to Read Across America

Students, faculty and staff at Brewton Elementary School celebrated the end of Read Across America week at the school with a drive-through parade.
Students dressed as their favorite characters and lined the sidewalks and curbs around the school to wave at parents, grandparents and friends as spectators drove through the school property.
The event was the finale to a week of focusing on reading.
