Escambia County Emergency Management Director David Adams has provided information released from the National Weather Service concerning expected heavy rainfall in our area through Friday of this week.

“The National Weather Service in Mobile has issued a Flash Flood Watch for southwest Alabama, including Escambia County, for this evening through Friday morning,” Adams said. “A significant weather system is moving into our area from the west and will impact our area through this time.”

Adams said he is monitoring the incoming weather system along with the NWS and will provide updates as needed throughout the watch period.
