For the second week in a row, Escambia County is looking at the possibility of severe weather across the area.

Escambia County Emergency Management Director David Adams said most of the weather that will have impacts on our area are expected Wednesday with a stronger possibility of severe weather on Thursday.

“The primary threat for Escambia County over the next couple of days looks to be heavy rainfall with the potential for flash flooding and possible creek and river flooding,” Adams said Tuesday evening.  “There is still some threat of severe weather, mostly on Thursday.  I have included graphics from the NWS in Mobile and also the forecast for Murder Creek from the River Forecast Center.”

The graphic associated with this information will give a better look at what may be expected for rising waters of Murder Creek.
