Students and visitors to Brewton’s campus of Coastal Alabama Community College will have a special opportunity for lunch and making a contribution to animal rescue organizations in the area.

Brewton’s Phi Theta Kappa chapter is holding a Chili Cook-Off on April 7th from 11:30am-12:30pm in front of the student center.

Students of the college will enter the competition that will help create a fun event for raising funds for the local groups. Those who have chili for the contest will receive votes by way of donations at each table.

Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place vote-getters in the competition.

Proceeds from the days event will benefit local animal rescue charities in cooperation with sister chapters of the honor club in Monroeville and Bay Minette.

The event is open to the public. Students entering the contest should submit entry forms to david.willis@coastalalabama.edu.
