For the second week in a row, more than 100 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the county by the Escambia County Healthcare Authority.

In the latest release, the ECHCA indicated 80 new cases were reported from testing at D.W. McMillan Memorial Hospital while Atmore Community Hospital testing reported 32 new cases in the past seven days.

As of Tuesday, Aug. 10, 5,446 cases have reported from testing at D.W. McMillan Memorial Hospital and 5,235 cases reported from testing at Atmore Community Hospital.
