The United Fund of Brewton and East Brewton organization is preparing to begin their fundraising season soon, and the search is on for those who are interested in funding this year.

Currently, there are many groups in the Brewton and East Brewton area, that typically request funding each year from the organization.

Previous agencies who have received UF funding will be receiving an application letter.

For those who have not previously received funding from UF, applications are now being accepted. To request inclusion in the funding process for the 2021 funding raising season, simply send your letter of request to: United Fund of Brewton/East Brewton, P.O. Box 34, Brewton, AL 36427 or contact Kirk Garrett, UF president, at 867-6063.

Deadline to submit an application is Oct. 1. Anyone interested in making a donation this year contact a Board member or mail a check  to P.O. Box 34, Brewton, AL 36426.More than 98 percent of the funds raised go to agencies in the Brewton and East Brewton area, and all donations are tax deductible due to the agency having 501(c)(3) status.
