The Escambia County Healthcare Authority has released information indicating 50 new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed this week.

At D.W. McMillan Memorial Hospital, 44 cases were confirmed from the 260 tests for the virus were administered in the past week.

At Atmore Community Hospital, six cases were confirmed as a result of 78 tests performed for the virus in Atmore.
