Brewton Municipal Stadium will be the site of the Alabama High School Athletic Association’s first round of playoff action in Class 3A.

T.R. Miller High School’s Tigers are currently the region champs going into the playoffs with an 8-2 record, losing only to Jackson and UMS-Wright.

In the bracket that includes T.R. Miller, the Tigers will host Hale County in the opening game of the playoffs. Other 3A games to be played this week include Flomaton taking on Montgomery Academy; and Trinity Presbyterian taking on Wicksburg. Opp will be playing Reeltown in the final 3A game of the week.

The winner of the Flomaton/Montgomery Academy game will take on the winner of the Trinity/Wicksburg game.

In T.R. Miller’s case, the winner of their game against Hale County will take on the winner of the Opp/Reeltown game in round two of the playoffs.

Kick-off is at 7 p.m. in Brewton Friday night.
