In an event that has become an annual tradition, Drexell & Honeybee’s Donations Only Restaurant will be offering a free Thanksgiving meal this Thursday.

Lisa and Freddie McMillan will be joined by a group of volunteers to prepare a traditional Thanksgiving feast available to anyone looking for a stress-free meal.

“The meal will be free to all,” Lisa said. “We are making this special holiday meal available to everyone. Everyone is invited to come join us for a day of good food and wonderful fellowship.”

The restaurant will be open from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday and will feature a full Thanksgiving menu including fried turkey, baked turkey, baked chicken, ham, corn bread dressing, fresh greens, green beans, mashed potatoes, yams, potato salad, lima beans, yeast rolls and corn bread. And holiday desserts include  red velvet cake, and lime cake.

The restaurant is located at 109 Lee Street in historic downtown Brewton.
