Holy Week service schedule announced

As Easter 2022 approaches, churches around the Brewton community are preparing for the annual Holy Week services
The annual schedule rotates throughout the week at various churches with pastors of those churches bringing the message each day of the week.
Services are planned each day at noon from April 11 through April 15. Each service will be followed by lunch.
Participating in the scheduled services for the 2022 Holy Week are:
Monday, April 11: St. Maurice Catholic Church, located at 202 East Jackson Street will host the services with the Rev. David Chatel of St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church bringing the message;
Tuesday, April 12: First United Methodist Church at 820 Belleville Avenue will host the services with the Rev. Parker Johnson of First Presbyterian Church bringing the message;
Wednesday, April 13: St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, located at 1510 Escambia Avenue will host the services with the Rev. Patrick Madden of St. Maurice Catholic Church bringing the message;
Thursday, April 14: First Baptist Church, located at 324 Belleville Avenue will host the services with the Rev. Bobby Ellisor of First Methodist Church bringing the message;
Friday, April 15: First Presbyterian Church, located at 336 Belleville Avenue, will host the services with the Rev. Cavin Cawthon of First Baptist Church delivering the message.
The services have become an annual tradition among the residents of the community and offers a time of reflection, worship and fellowship in the community.
All services will conclude by 12:30 p.m. and are open to the public.
