The Brewton Kiwanis Club kicked off the activity for the annual Alabama Blueberry Festival Saturday with their annual pancake breakfast. The event featured blueberry (and regular) pancakes served with all the usual trimmings as a fundraiser for the group. Photos shown are a just a sampling of the work by the group Saturday morning. The group gathered to make a plan for the cooking and serving of the pancakes.  Jeff Kirkland flips up a griddle full of blueberry pancakes ready for serving and Jim Hildreth takes his turn at the griddle to make sure there are regular pancakes available for those enjoying the breakfast event.
