In what has long been an annual tradition, the Greater Brewton Lions Club will be hosting their Ribs and Rides Car show on Saturday.
The annual event will begin with car registration early on Saturday morning at the Camp 31 Barbecue/Hour glass location at 220 St. Joseph Street in downtown Brewton.
The cars will be displayed throughout the morning with the show portion of the day spanning from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
At the close of the show, trophies and other awards will be presented to the top-placing vehicles entered in the event.
Also during the event, a 50-50 drawing will be held and door prizes will be awarded. Music will entertain throughout the event.
Each car will be required to register for entry into the event with a meal ticket provided for each car registered.
This 18th annual event will provide funding needed to provide the services and projects done by the Lions throughout the community.
