PorchFest set for Saturday afternoon

Plans for PorchFest 2022 are being finalized and will bring a variety of entertainment to the front porches of homes along Belleville and Evergreen Avenues this Saturday afternoon.
The event will kick-off at 2 p.m. and will continue until 8 p.m. as the main stage hosts the finale to the day of entertainment.
Those schedule to entertain through the afternoon will provide music that will appeal to a wide variety of interests.
Along Belleville Avenue, The Mudcats will kick off at 2 p.m. on the small stage set at 605 Belleville Avenue.
Josh Pugh will be on the Miller’s Porch at 621 Belleville beginning at 2:45.
The Little Things will begin their session at 3:30 p.m. on the Gordy House Porch at 614 Belleville Avenue.
At 4:15 p.m., Weaver Road- will entertain at the Billy/Allen Driveway at 6223-6225 Belleville Ave.
Burning Fern will be on the small stage at 605 Belleville Avenue at 5 p.m.
On Evergreen Avenue, Patrick Lowery and Friends will fill the Chippy Byrnes Porch at 622 Evergreen beginning at 2 p.m.
3 Old Guys with Guitars will entertain from the Herrington Porch at 603 Evergreen beginning at 2:45 p.m.
Beginning at 3:30 p.m, Ed Dolihite and Bracken Pettis will perform at 616 Evergreen Avenue on the Dolihite Porch. Ed Dolihite will continue entertaining until 5 p.m.
The mainstage at the Craft House at 605 Belleville Avenue will play host to Bobby Moore and the Rhythm Aces beginning at 6 p.m.
The Montgomery-based soul musical group will bring a crowd-pleasing performance on the main stage to round out the afternoon of performances by popular, local artists.
The event will also feature food and beverages for those attending the event. On hand for the afternoon will be Brewton Brew, Taste Home Bakes with gourmet cookies, muffins and biscuits, D’s Concessions and Squirrel’s BBQ.
Festival attendees are invited to bring lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the entertainment throughout the day.
