Members of the Greater Brewton Lions Club will be manning the griddle this Saturday morning, March 15, to do some pancake flipping.
The annual fund raiser event will begin at 7 a.m. and feature the usual fare for a good Southern pancake breakfast.
Conecuh sausage will be served up beside the pancakes until 9 a.m. at David’s Catfish House, located on The Trails off Douglas Avenue in Brewton.
Lions have also seen additional support for the 2025 event from Piggly Wiggly and Pick-N-Sav.
For those partaking of the breakfast fare, the cost is $6 per plate and can be enjoyed in the dining from of David’s Catfish House or the plates may be picked up for take-out dining. Children under 6 dine free.
The Greater Brewton Lions Club has been working in the Brewton community since they received their charter in 1935 from Lions International.
The local organization is responsible for placement of American flags displayed throughout the business district in honor of holidays throughout the year. The group is also instrumental in donations to local groups and organizations for community work.
The pancake breakfast and the groups annual car shows help raise funds that help the community.
