Commissioners invite volunteers to ‘clean up’

The Escambia County Commission is pleased to announce a county wide cleanup in coordination with Alabama PALS (People against a littered state) for citizens of Escambia County, AL.

The Commissioners are asking for volunteers to assist in this effort.

The County Commissioners will provide garbage bags and sign-up sheets for volunteers — please contact
your commissioner below, or stop by the Engineering Office at 1 Henderson St, Suite 4, Brewton, AL

Dumpsters will be provided beginning April 21 through April 26 at the following locations:

Please no tires, electronics, batteries, fluorescent bulbs, ballasts, paint, or household garbage

3251 Pea Ridge Road – Brewton – County Shop
351 Jack Springs Road – Atmore – County Shop
Springhill – Ridge Road – East Brewton
22475 Hwy 31 – Flomaton Firehouse

Tires, electronics, batteries, fluorescent bulbs, and ballasts will be accepted ONLY April 26 at the
following locations.

Please follow the instructions of personnel as these items must go into special dumpsters. The hours
for the special items are from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM ONLY ON APRIL 26.
