The 2025 Alabama Blueberry Festival kicks off at 8 a.m. on Saturday and will turn the community blue until 3 p.m.

With a capacity crowd of vendors, those who enjoy shopping for unique and once-a-year offerings will find plenty to enjoy throughout the day.

A special children’s area is being presented for the festival thanks to the sponsorship of Georgia-Pacific’s Brewton mill.

In addition to the entertainment planned on the main stage, another draw for the annual event is the Car Show. Registration for vehicles in the show will begin at 7 a.m. on festival day with an entry fee of $25 per vehicle. Awards for the Top 30, 12 Best of Show, Chamber Choice and Judge’s Choice will be presented at 2:30 p.m.

The Greater Brewton Area Chamber of Commerce hosts the annual event and will be offering some wonderful treats through the day. The once-a-year blueberry ice cream will be available by the dish and board members of the group will be dishing up the freshly-prepared blueberry cobbler and blueberry crunch by the dish. You can also find the collectable Blueberry Festival t-shirt at the Chamber booth as well. All items will be available while supplies last.

The event will be held at Jennings Park located near downtown Brewton with parking around the festival site.
