Flomaton man killed in ATV crash

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency released information on a fatal crash just north of Flomaton on Satuday.

According to the report, a single-vehicle crash involving an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) occurred at approximately 6:24 p.m. Saturday, June 21, and has claimed the life of a Flomaton man.

Christopher G. Lambeth, 34, was fatally injured when the 2021 Polaris 1000 ATV he was operating left the roadway and struck a fence. Lambeth was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The crash occurred on Upper Creek Road near Wolf Log Road, approximately four miles north of the Flomaton city limits, in Escambia County.

Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
