The Brewton Branch 5010-B of the NAACP is sponsoring a public political forum for candidates in the upcoming Brewton municipal election.

The forum is open to all candidates of Mayoral and Council races in the city. There will be a question and answer session allowing each candidate three minutes to respond.

The forum will be facilitated by Dr. Richard Benjamin, first vice president of the sponsoring group.

All candidates have received an invitation to participate in the forum.

The event is set for July 15 beginning at 4:30 p.m. in the council chambers at Brewton City Hall.

The forum is open to the public.
